We keep telling everyone that when you get adopted by a cat, you simply have to accept it. Sure, it may not come at the most convenient time or happen in the easiest way. Sometimes, cats show up out of nowhere and take over our lives, and we may not be ready for it in the moment that it happens. But then, we get ready. We accept it. We don't have an existential crisis because we were chosen by a fluffy feline. We keep telling people, yet they keep losing their minds anyway.

But not this person. This person knew that it was their time, and they accepted it instantly. When this cat showed up in their lives, they were like, "Cool, let's do it." Of course, they didn't know that they were going to be adopted by two cats, but even then… when the cat distribution system chooses you, it's easier to not fight it.

A very innocent beginning to this story. Just someone that is happy to be chosen by a cat. As they should be. Not someone questioning whether this should be happening to them or not. They've accepted it. They are happy about it. They don't know what's coming.

You can never really know what the CDS has in store for you. And they did not know that kitty came as part of a bonded inseparable pair. And really, we're glad there was no drama about it, because once they did get the second half of this pair… they were just as chill about it.
